The East Side Gallery is a monument in Berlin’s district of Friedrichshain. The permanent Open Air Gallery shows over 100 artworks from artists from all over the world. After the tha wall came down in 1989, it was painted in the spring of 1990. All pictures deal with a common subject: the peaceful reunification and the hopes for a unified future.
